David Kruse, AICP, PTP

Senior Transportation Planner

David has 10 years of professional experience specializing in multi-modal planning, transportation analysis, transportation demand management (TDM) plan development, parking studies, traffic calming (speed management), geospatial analysis, and public outreach. David’s training in urban and regional planning, coupled with his diverse experience in transportation planning, enables him to bring a unique set of skills to projects that help achieve his client’s vision. He understands the intrinsic linkage between transportation, land use, urban design and health, and how these disciplines work to shape a community. David serves as Vice President of the Genesee-Finger Lakes Section of the American Planning Association: New York Upstate Chapter. He is also an active volunteer member in PlayROC and PlayBEST (local community engagement teams under the HealthiKids initiative and Common Ground Health) and is a project design review committee member for the Fairport Perinton Partnership.

David is a certified planner via the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and certified Professional Transportation Planner (PTP) via the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

David received his Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from the University at Buffalo.
